Uploading exel/CSV data to OSM

Hey guys, I want to creat an active river map with OSM platform - I have a river layer, hydrologic sensativity layer and now I want to add information to this map from exel file. I download the free Java OSM application in porpuse to creat new layer with my own data and I didn’t seccses. Any advice for seccess?

Are you maybe trying to show your data with osm map as background?

I would use umap or qgis for that
