Up-to-date UK .osm file?

Is anyone maintaing a up-to-date portion of planet.osm that represents the UK? I did find:

http://nick.dev.openstreetmap.org/downloads/planet/

mentioned on this page:

http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Planet.osm

but the uk file there is 6 months out of date. I don’t really fancy downloading the entire planet.osm if someone already has done this. Anyone?

Ah, never mind, I just spotted that the CloudMade link above that one I posted has the UK in a single .osm file, less than a week old. :slight_smile:

Geofabrik provide a Great Britain planet extract, updated daily.
They also have separate Scotland/England/Wales and English county extracts.
