Anm: Die datasets haben alle sehr uhnterschiedliche (Anzahlen an) Attributen.

Ich suche u.a. auch nach Attributen und Tags wie etwa “Volunteering”: Das gibt es ja auch in Kliniken. Das kann man da ja auch oft antreffen. Die Frage ist, in wieweit spielte das in den OSM-Mapping eine Rolle? Also hier jetzt Volunteering etwa in einem Krankenhaus o.ä Dieser Aspekt taucht aber in keiner Liste von Tags auf. Dabei gibt es doch auch Volunteering - zumindest hier in Deutschland - in Krankenhäusern und Kliniken. Ich suche mal noch weiter!

The Open Database of Healthcare Facilities (ODHF) is a collection of open data containing the names, types, and locations of health facilities across Canada. It is released under the Open Government License - Canada. The ODHF compiles open, publicly available, and directly-provided data on health facilities across Canada. Data sources include regional health authorities, provincial, territorial and municipal governments, and public health and professional healthcare bodies. This database aims to provide enhanced access to a harmonized listing of health facilities across Canada by making them available as open data. This database is a component of the Linkable Open Data Environment (LODE).

Data sources and methodology The inputs for the ODHF are datasets whose sources include regional health authorities, provincial, territorial and municipal governments, and public health and professional healthcare bodies. These datasets were available either under one of the various types of open data licences, e.g., in an open government portal, or as publicly available data. In certain cases, data were obtained directly from administrative sources. Details of the sources used are available in the ODHF metadata.
The data sources used do not deploy a uniform classification system. The ODHF harmonizes facility type by assigning one of three types to each health facility. This was done based on the facility type provided in the source data as well as using other research carried out for the purpose. The facility types used in the ODHF are: ambulatory health care services, hospitals, and nursing and residential care facilities. However, alternative medicine (e.g., herbalists) and specialist areas (e.g., chiropractors, dentists, mental health specialists, etc.) are not in scope for the current ODHF version (version 1.0).

The ODHF does not assert having exhaustive coverage and may not contain all facilities in scope for the current version. While efforts have been made to minimize these, facility type classification and geolocation errors are also possible. While all data are released on the same date, the dates as of which data are current depends on the update dates of the sources used.

A subset of geo-coordinates available in the source data were validated using the internet and updated as needed. When latitude and longitude were not available, geocoding was performed for some sources using address data in the source. Some coordinates were also removed from the original sources when it was determined they were derive from postal codes or other aggregate geographic areas as opposed to street address Deduplication was done to remove duplicates for cases where sources overlapped in coverage.

This first version of the database (version 1.0) contains approximately 9,000 records. Data were collected by accessing sources between November 2019 and Marc 2020.

Dann erkennt man einen Unterschied alleine im kanadischen-dataset: und wenn man das dataset und das set der attribute des deutschen Abzugs (mit 2900 Records) vergleicht, dann sieht man hier eine große Differenz: Beim dt. Datenset gibt es viel viel mehr Datenattribute ( vgl: Krankenhäuser bzw. Krankenhaus (hospital) OpenStreetMap Stand 17.03.2020 ).

amenity=hospital wird für Krankenhäuser benutzt, also z.B. für Einrichtungen mit spezialisierten Ärzten und Apparaten, und die Möglichkeit Kranke auch für längere Zeit aufzunehmen.
Im Gegensatz dazu steht amenity=clinic für eine Facharztklinik, in der kleine chirurgische Eingriffe ambulant vorgenommen werden.
Einzelne Arztpraxen werden mit amenity=doctors kartiert.

Zeichne den Umriss Fläche oder Gebiet des Geländes des Krankenhauses (“Krankenhaus-Campus”) und füge amenity=hospital und name=* hinzu. Die einzelnen Gebäude des Krankenhauses werden mit building=hospital gekennzeichnet (bei abweichendem Gebäudetyp entsprechend), erhalten aber kein amenity-Tag, siehe One feature, one OSM element.
Wenn das Krankenhaus nur aus einem Gebäude ohne Freifläche besteht, erhält der Umriss Fläche oder Gebiet dieses Gebäudes amenity=hospital, name=* und building=hospital.
Sind Gelände bzw. Gebäude noch nicht kartierbar (z.B. fehlendes Luftbild), setze einen Punkt Knoten oder Punkt etwa im Zentrum des Krankenhauses und füge amenity=hospital und name=* hinzu.
Wird zu einem vorhandenen Punkt später der Umriss gezeichnet, werden die Attribute von dem Punkt auf den Umriß übertragen und vom Punkt gelöscht. Wenn man den Punkt im Umriss weiterverwendet, ist dieser Wechsel gut nachvollziehbar.
Darüberhinaus kann auch über healthcare=hospital additiv zu amenity=hospital nachgedacht werden. Dieses stammt aus aus dem akzeptierten Proposal zu healthcare=*, welches detailierter ist, aber weniger verbreitet.

Seit Ende 2018 werden für den Standard-Kartenstile “carto”, welcher auf der Hauptseite von OpenStreepMap (www.osm.org) zum Einsatz kommt, folgende Symbole für healthcare=* in roter Farbe angezeigt:

Healthcare - Wird derzeit bei bei einer Auswahl von 16 anderen Werten von healthcare=* angezeigt – diese entspechen mit Ausnahme von healthcare=counselling und healthcare=pharmacy (ohne amenity=pharmacy) der Tabelle “Werte des Schlüssels” auf dieser Wiki-Seite. Die 16 Werte sind (Stand 26.03.2019): alternative, audiologist, birthing_center, blood_bank, blood_donation, dialysis, laboratory, midwife, occupational_therapist, optometrist, physiotherapist, podiatrist, psychotherapist, rehabilitation, speech_therapist, yes. Siehe Code des carto-CSS bei GitHub. Über die Ergänzung weiterer Werte für das Rendering wie z.B. healthcare=counselling wird noch diskutiert (siehe z.B. GitHub #3706).

Hinweis: Es gibt einen neuen Antrag bei GitHub für den Openstreetmap-Carto-Style (27.03.2019 – #3731 – Revert rendering of healthcare key), um das gesamte Rendering von healthcare=* für ca. ein paar Monate auszusetzen – wegen Problemen mit dem Rendern von areas, die mit healthcare=* getaggt sind – denn diese werden zur Zeit gar nicht gerendert.

Attribute die DE hat aber CA1, CA2 und US nicht:
Religion, Notaufnahme, Räume, Betten, Kapazität, Rollstuhlgerecht, wikidata
Die Frage ist: warum ist das so: warum haben wir hier die unterschiedlichen tags und attribute?

Die Tatsache, dass “Religion” als auch “wikidata” im Set auftaucht, suggeriert, dass ESRI sich bei OSM bedient hat. So ein Detailniveau kennt man eigentlich primär von deutschen Mappern.

Das klärst du am besten erstmal mit den Erstellern der datasets – es könnte ja sein, dass gar nicht die OSM-Quelldaten so unterschiedlich detailliert sind, sondern die Datenauszüge nur unterschiedlich ausgewertet wurden, je nachdem, was im jeweiligen Land interessant ist oder gebraucht wird und was nicht.

Was sollen wir hier auf der Daten-Erfassungs-Seite, auf der wir als Mapper stehen, deiner Ansicht nach machen?

vorweg: vielen Dank für die rasche Rückemdlung über die ich mich sehr gefreut hab.

Also meine Frage geht dahin, herauszubekommen, ob es denn ein gewissermaßen einheitliches Tagset gibt nachdem vorgegangen wird beim Mappen? Es ist so dass mich etwas wundert, wie umfangreich der Datensatz z.B. der dt. ESRI ist - die sie zu Demonstrationszwecken erstellt haben (open data).

Interessanterweise sind bei den Daten aus USA, oder Canada ganz andere Attribute vorhanden. 'Ich habe mal oben in der Tabelle versucht, die Attribute der Daten(-sets)zusammenzustellen - und miteinander zu vergleichen: Ich habe versucht einen Überblick zu gewinnen: Welche Datenattribute haben die verschiedenen Sets und wie stehen die (Priortäten der) Attribute zueinander?
Das führte mich zu der Frage: Wie also vorgehen wenn veschiedene Datensets zum Thema Hospitals, Krankenhäuser, Healthcare vorliegen. Man kann die kaum vergleichen. Und - wie ist das denn dann z.B. bei französchen Mappern oder jenen aus Spanien. Wird nach einem halbwegs konsisteten Set von Daten gemappt - sodass dann am Ende ggf. vergleichbare Datensätze vorhanden sind -oder sagen wir, sodass man davon ausgehen kann - dass z.B. alle Datensätze x sets von Attributen haben?

Das leuchtet unmittelbar ein - für mich wäre halt dennoch interessant, ob man sich hier irgendwelche Mapping-Ideen oder Empfehlungen vorstellen kann: Schließlich handelt es sich hier bei Hospital / Healthcare ja auch um relativ wichtige Dinge.

Und wenn man auf die Tags und die diversen Aspekte schaut, also ein paar Tags und Attribute fehlen mit hier dann doch. Zum Beispiel Mich interessiert halt auch die Frage - ob die Idee Volunteering in den OSM-Mapping eine tragende Rolle spielt: oder überhaupt eine Rolle.M.a.W.: wenn man nach Volunteering etwa in einem Krankenhaus o.ä sucht, dann ist da oft Fehlanzeige: Dieser Aspekt taucht praktisch in keiner Liste von Tags auf. Das ist doch komisch. Dabei gibt es doch auch Volunteering - zumindest hier in Deutschland - in Krankenhäusern und Kliniken. Was meint ihr denn hier!?

On the sign up to the Healthsites.io page, users will register using OAuth against the OSM authentication provider. Each data change (create/update/delete) to a health facility on the Healthsite.io platform will be written directly to the OSM database using the OSM API, with the OSM credentials associated with the logged in user on Healthsites.io.

The last step involved in the creation of the Healthsites OSM data model was discussing and assessing the health facility components and the associated tags to capture this data, with partners Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) International and CartONG, who have both conducted many projects focused on the data collection of health facilities across the globe. There are two data models outlined below. The first is the ‘Simplified’ OSM model, which is the minimum mandatory attribute information required for a health facility. Please note that the source tag is very important to help identify where the data came from, was it a data import? If so, than something along the lines of healthsites-import-- should be used and the link to the OSM wiki project page should be added as the URL value to help provide data users context and confidence when utilising the information. Similarly, please do the same if the data was collected through a ground survey, use healthsites-survey-- as the source value and the OSM wiki project page as the URL value, or if the data is crowdsourced use healthsites-crowdsourced-- as the source value and leave the URL blank.

Tag Proposal
The tags that are being proposed as part of the development of an OSM data model for Healthsites.io include ‘staff_count:doctors’, ‘staff_count:nurses’, ‘healthcare:equipment’ and ‘insurance:health’. The ability to be able to record how many staff members, particularly doctors and nurses were available at a health facility is extremely important in an emergency situation, where government officials, for example would want to identify a site that can handle the influx of a certain number of patients. Therefore the introduction of ‘staff_count:doctors’ and ‘staff_count:nurses’ was necessary for capturing this information.

The extensive wiki page Healthcare 2.0 put together by OSM user Fabi2 was reviewed and re-purposed where it made sense. We wanted to ensure that the work by Fabi2 was not overlooked and although very detailed, only extracted the parts that were required by the Healthsites.io model. The tags ‘staff_count:doctors’ and ‘staff_count:nurses’ was initially proposed by Fabi2, but unfortunately the whole page has been listed as abandoned. There are 882 features using both of these tags, based on the statistics from Tag Info, which is predominantly based in Africa. Looking at Tag History, it looks as though there was an initial bulk import but the use of both tags has steadily increased over time.

nebenbei bemerkt sind hier im Forum auch einige der Ansicht dass das HealthSites-Projekt nur einen sehr sehr eingeschränkten Blick auf die Fülle der Daten von OpenStreetMap liefert. (“Scheuklappenblick auf das Ganze!”)

Wenn Du nach weltweit standardisierten Datensätzen suchst würde ich es mal bei der WHO probieren: https://www.who.int/healthinfo/statistics/en/ vielleicht findest Du dort etwas einheitliches bzw. kannst Deine vorhandenen Datensätze so normieren.

Frage: was würdet ihr denn unternehmen wenn ihr - ein Template bauen wollt welches für unterschiedliche Datensätze passend ist - bzw. diese aufnimmt? Wie also vorgehen wenn veschiedene Datensets zum Thema Hospitals: und Krankenhäuser vorliegen und man ein Template braucht - welches gewissermaßen alle Datensätze aufnehmen soll. Was sollte reinkommen & was sollte ggf draußenbleiben?

Das ist doch komisch. Dabei gibt es doch auch Volunteering - zumindest hier in Deutschland - in Krankenhäusern und Kliniken.

Darüber hinaus: dann erkennt man einen Unterschied alleine im canadischen-dataset.

und wenn man das dataset und das set der attribute des deutschen Abzugs (mit 2900 Records) vergleicht, dann sieht man hier eine große Differenz: Beim dt. Datenset gibt es viel viel mehr Datenattribute ( vgl: Krankenhäuser bzw. Krankenhaus (hospital) OpenStreetMap Stand 17.03.2020 ).

so könnte man verschieden Ansätze verfolgen: man wählt

die kleineste gemeinsame Menge
alle Tags die man kriegen kannst (non-relational DBMS)
alle Tags die man kriegen kannst und setze sie leer/NULL wo sie nicht verfügbar sind (relational DBMS)

ich denke dass das ein moeglicher Ansatz ist.

btw: wir haben in Deutschland ca. 80 bis 100 TSD Volontäre - oder FSJler die ein freiwillig soziales Jahr ableisten. Da wäre es ja auch interessant die Einrichtungen (Kliniken, Hospitäler etc, etx ) die ein solches FSJ anbieten oder -(internat. gesprochen: “voluntary work anbieten”) entsprechend zu kennzeichnen.

Zugegeben: für die Healthcare - Mapping-Thematik ist dies zwar nur ein Randaspekt - aber immerhin. Interessant wäre das.
