Recently the proposal for a unified ETCS Markers tagging got approved [RFC] Feature Proposal – Unified ETCS Signals (railway)
For switzerland I propose to replace the section DE:OpenRailwayMap/Tagging in Switzerland - OpenStreetMap Wiki with a link to OpenRailwayMap/ETCS Markers - OpenStreetMap Wiki
601 CAB-Anfang and 602 CAB-Ende would be moved to the ETCS Markers with a new Switzerland specific section for those two. (while 602 CAB-Ende is CH-FDV:602 and type=end)
Considering the tags, which exist already for the ETCS Stop and Location marker I have a question: Does anyone know what the meaning behind railway:signal:train_protection:type=block_marker is? It seems to exist often, but I couldn’t find any reason for it. My suggestion would be to remove this.
With this overpass turbo - Swiss edition query there are all nodes which would need to be updated to the new schema.
If no one has any objections, I would do those changes sometime next week.
