Are you happy with the maximum weight quest in StreetComplete as asked in Britain?
Assuming that it’s the same in SCEE, I think so.
It only asks for bridges and asks which sign is present from four European/Vienna Convention variants (actual weight limit, max gross weight and two max axle weight variants) before asking the actual weight limit, then presents the numeric entry field with the selected sign as a background image.
Using maxweight:signed=no
seems reasonable where no signed restriction is present, even in places like the UK where the tag for a weight restriction on a bridge would usually be maxweightrating=*
.
I’d like to suggest 2 projects for Q3 if I may

Conversion of company’s inside buildings from the actual building way to POI’s. For example, is this building really called Initial or is there a company inside the building called Initial?

Updating of industrial estates in terms of POI’s. Some industrial estates near me were last updated 10 years ago
I think this would be counterproductive.
Many businesses they take up the whole building and marking them as a point just introduces ambiguity.
I generally feel that we should be going the opposite direction wherever possible including indoor mapping of how big a shop is once we have the means to do that.
I definitely support the industrial estates proposal.
Ok great. Expanding on industrial estates, what would be some good metrics to measure progress?
Does start_date=1990
apply to the shop or building? Way: Bellissima (496676413) | OpenStreetMap
I’ve no argument against polygons, but merging buildings and shops, or landuse and shops or anything like that causes collisions.
I would judge that start_date=
is shop and building would be construction_date=
.
The data doesn’t really support that eg Way: 6230 Interbay Boulevard (1107701407) | OpenStreetMap
But the same goes for other tags like ref
or wikipedia
.
