Two values of name:lang, how to tag them?

In changeset #179268513, user xdddddddxdxdxd replaced Polish name (name:pl) of Belarusian town of Dzyarzhynsk (Дзяржынск) from “Dzierżyńsk” to “Kojdanów” due to Felix Dzerzhinsky being a communist. The second one is indeed the old name, what is asserted by old_name:be, old_name:ru, and even old_name:pl tags, however, the List of Polish Geographical Names of the World issued by Commission on Standardization of Geographical Names Outside the Republic of Poland mentions both said names as the official Polish ones (see page 30). Similar issue can be seen in changeset #179367122.

What’s the best way to tag it, name:pl=Dzierżyńsk;Kojdanów, name:pl:2=Kojdanów, or anything else?

There are also

• alt_name
• official_name
  but the later is probably not meant for non-local authorities.

Also, the literal translation of the name in one language can be an “old_name” in another..

due to Felix Dzerzhinsky being a communist.

I reverted this edit as something being named after evil person this is not a valid reason to purge name tags

(it may be a valid reason to change name, but OSM records world as it is, not as we want it to be - name must be changed in reality first)

The List also states

Jeżeli podawane są polskie nazwy wariantowe (np. Wyspy Liparyjskie; Wyspy Eolskie), to nazwa pierwsza w kolejności jest tą, którą Komisja uważa za najwłaściwszą, uznając jednak pozostałe za dopuszczalne (nazwy wariantowe).

So it would be:
