I am trying to tag a place which accepts both waste and recycling. Potlach seems unhappy with two amenity tags on one node, simply discarding one of them.
Would:
amenity: waste_disposal
recycling:yes
work?
Thanks from a struggling beginner

The โcommonโ way to do this is:
amenity=recycling;waste_disposal
Works great, thanks!
What is suggested on the wiki:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:amenity%3Dwaste_disposal
is a bit different:
amenity=waste_disposal
waste=recycling
The other solution works (anything works as key/value) but will not be recognized by other applications.
Or another option is to map 2 nodes in slightly different places, one tagged as amenity=recycling, the other as amenity=waste_disposal.
The waste bin is usually not in exactly the the same place as the recycling bin.
