On the NSI, Turkish telecom operator shops (Turkcell, Vodafone, and Türk Telekom) are currently tagged as shop=mobile_phone. However, these shops mainly focus on services such as Internet contracts, IPTV, streaming services, SIM cards, and mobile/Internet plans. While they do sell some phones, that’s minimal compared to their main purpose.
This is different from a shop=mobile_phone, and matches the description of shop=telecommunication perfectly.
Does the Turkish community agree that I update Turkcell, Vodafone, and Türk Telekom shops from shop=mobile_phone to shop=telecommunication on the NSI and on OSM?
