Hi there,

the photo is quite surprising to me. The structure is obviously a survey tower – one of the “newly” rebuild ones for military purposes. They are known in Brdy military area (see Měřická věž – Wikipedie and the photo from Koruna on the right). Until today I believed all of these were already torn down. The VP is listed as point no. 35 “Špičák” on map list 4018 (full number 000000940180350). The actual VP is the stone on the ground, as you have already identified. The documentation (I can’t provide a link because it has no permanent URI, but it can be found at https://dataz.cuzk.gov.cz/ if you try hard) only states that there is a signalisation high 21.8 metres in a form of a survey tower above the VP and that it was built in 1946 :open_mouth:

Back to the roots, I am in favour of tagging it as survey_point:structure=beacon

Sorry for English, my German is horrible.

P.S. The summit was in a military area until 2016, that probably “helped” to preserve the structure
