Topography on Folium?

I wonder if it is possible to display topographic lines with the python library Folium.
If I have a topographic map on QGIS, is it possible to transform in to a format that would be possible to display as a layer on Folium?
What are the general steps to create that?

There might be someone here who is familiar with that software, but you might be better off on a more generic GIS Q&A site.
