With regard to craft=window_construction not appearing in the “OSM Carto” map style (but appearing in others), that sort of thing is a fairly common complaint. See for example the discussion here. See also this issue, which has been open since 2015.
Suggestions about how to move forward have been made here and (by me) here. However, that needs someone to have the free time to be able to commit to making it happen.
