In December, TomTom has two MapRoulette challenges to share.
First there is the Canada - Inconsistent Layer Tagging on Highways challenge with 587 tasks. This challenge focuses on highway features, mostly bridges and tunnels. In most cases, the layer value is incorrect or may be missing. In other situations, the layer value may correct but the layer extent may no longer be correct due to objects being moved.
In the example shown below the tunnel intersects another highway but is missing layer tagging.
Up next is the Canada - Disconnected Barriers from Nearby Roads challenge with 774 tasks. Thus challenge detects where barriers are not located on highways. Usually, this requires verification that the barrier still exists or an update to the barrier position. Complex situations may need more research or access tag updates might be needed as a result from the barrier update.
As always you may encounter false positives, so feel free to mark those tasks as Already Fixed or Not an Issue as needed.
