I just uploaded a changeset that was meant for OpenHistoricalMap to OpenStreetMap. Again. Of course, I immediately reverted the changeset. However, I wonder, how I could improve my workflow so that this does not happen so often.
One idea would be, to associate the Data Layer to a server.
Another idea would be to have the server, I’m currently connected to, printed in big red letters somewhere on the screen.
What ideas do you have?
What do you think can be easy be implemented as JOSM plugin?

I am using a script which manages the use of different .josm folders on startup (basically to save some typing), so everything is completely different (history like commit comments, last downloaded area, last used files and tags, settings, loaded presets and paint styles, ui settings, plugins etc.). If you’re editing in the same area with both accounts you could save some disk space by linking the imagery cache to avoid redundancy.
