Tileserver down?

Can anyone confirm or negate whether the tileserver is down? Without changing the code i now got the error:

08.07.2013 21:47:17 org.jdesktop.swingx.mapviewer.AbstractTileFactory$TileRunner run
SCHWERWIEGEND: Failed to load a tile at url: http://tile.openstreetmap.org/15/17274/10767.png, retrying
java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect

Please tell us the program or web service that you use to download the tiles.

Maybe you are blocked according to http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Blocked_applications … see the mentioned tile usage policy.

Also you can have a quite recent status report about the OSM servers at http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Platform_Status
