In der letzten weeklyOSM habe ich über das Tool von @confusedbuffalo gelesen, das hilft, in OSM falsch erfasste Telefonnummern zu finden.
Dank einem kleinen Beitrag von mir gibt es die Auswertung jetzt auch für die Schweiz, aufgetrennt nach Kantonen.

Gerade bei etwas unklaren Fällen linkt das Tool direkt zur Webseite des POIs, so dass Korrekturen flink möglich sind.

Wie bei anderen QA-Tools gilt: Vorschläge nicht einfach blind übernehmen, sondern als Trigger für eine kleine Nachforschung verwenden!

Cooles Tool. Gleich mal ein paar Nummern - natürlich auch wenn offensichtlich, erst nach Kontrolle (Manche haben auch geändert seit sie erfasst wurden) - gefixt.

Gestern ist mir auch aufgefallen, dass die ‘Edit in JOSM’-Knöpfe nicht funktionieren.
Das wurde mit https://github.com/confusedbuffalo/phone-report/issues/38 schon gemeldet und mittlerweilen geflickt.

Das ist nicht meine Auswertung, ich hab’ nur etwas geholfen, dass die Schweiz dort auch auftaucht.

Das mit den Edit Knöpfen hatte ich auch festgestellt aber dann den anderen einfachen Weg gefunden.

Klick auf das Typ-Symbol zum Eintrag öffnet die Node in OSM und dann ab in JOSM-Edit.

OW, NW, GL, AR und ZG sind abgearbeitet - BE habe ich im Oberland mal etwas angefangen.

I see that since this, there has been consistent effort to fix the invalid numbers and keep fixing new ones as they come up.

I have a bot edit going to fix simple cases, where the tag consists of only punctuation and digits and can be parsed to a valid number for the country. So far it is running in USA, about to start in UK, and soon in Canada too.

It would be simple, technically, to enable in Switzerland too. Is it worth proposing?

Have you fixed the issue with mangling emergency numbers?

Would you mind being more specific? I don’t remember any comments anywhere about emergency numbers being mangled.

Thank you, I understand now.

+49 116117 was marked as invalid by my tool, which that thread seems to agree with. No suggested fix is offered for such numbers, and in that case an individual made a change which others consider incorrect.

See for example here, where the element “Kassenärztlicher Bereitschaftsdienst” with phone number +49 116117 is listed under Ungültige Telefonnummern (Invalid phone numbers), with no suggestion present. This has always been the case.

I’m all for doing that automatically with a bot.

Fixing simple and clear cases automatically sounds fine for me as well - actually this might even help to get a better quality for those fixes that should be done manually as users do not get too blind…
