Tags to differentiate screw types on water taps (drinking water)?

I might be hallucinating, but I remember seeing some tags to differentiate between types of water tap connections, such as:

  • Inner screw (like residential taps)
  • No screw at all (but maybe given diameter of the pipe)
  • Gardena adapter (common in Europe)
  • Outer screw (usually bigger taps)

It’s all usually in context of amenity=drinking_water or man_made=water_tap.

Some of the thoughts I have - to be able to differentiate drinking fountains like in the parks and water taps which can have a hose attached for filling water in a car/RV.

Is there something like this, could someone please point me to existing tags?

Could you be remembering the tags used for the connection details of fire hydrants?

Other than the diameter tag they seem like ones that could be extended to also work for ‘mundane’ water source.

For what it’s worth, wikipedia seems to think Hozelock is the originator for the garden quick connect style.

As a general rule, I would like to point out that an amenity=drinking_water tag is not intended for drawing large quantities of water; amenity=water_point exists for that purpose. I have a tap at my own house that I make publicly available so that cyclists, hikers, and others can refill their water bottles, but I would not be happy if motorhomes were regularly filling their tanks there. Therefore, I recommend using such facilities with discretion.
