I am aware of the tags for ‘farmyard’ and ‘locality’, but when naming a farm (in most cases this will be the farmyard around which are the various barns, farmhouse etc) how should it be tagged. Naming an area which is already tagged as ‘landuse=farmyard’ seems rather inaccurate, primarily because ‘landuse=farmland’ is such an ambiguous definition. Personally i have though about using the ‘locality’ tag - is this acceptable?

If you want to use the place-tag you could try the place=isolated_dwelling.
