Tagging Guidance for Dirt Barriers

Hello everyone,

In Saudi Arabia, we have many narrow dirt barriers (usually 2 meters or taller) that are used to prevent access. These barriers are commonly employed to secure private and public properties such as farms, government facilities, unused private lands, and even as preliminary barriers along international borders.

I am uncertain about the most appropriate tags to use for these barriers. Would using embankment=yes along with barrier=debris be suitable for this type of feature?

I’ve attached a photo as an example of the dirt barrier for better context.

I would just go with barrier=debris, probably as a way crossing the blocked road.

Wiki says use on node only, but also says there are almost 1900 ways in use!
