I will not be overwriting or deleting any stop tags like shelter.
Regarding inconsistent locations, there’s not much I can do - if anything looks blatantly wrong (wrong intersection compared to name) then I won’t add it, but otherwise it will just need to be addressed by whoever has the local knowledge later.
Regarding relations, this will be preserved for existing stops. No new relations will be added by me (you’re doing an awesome job at that 
).
Status Update:
Below image shows all bus stops from Transport NSW in green, and an export of all bus stops from Overpass in Orange (the less green you see, the better :D).
The glaring hole in the middle of the image is an area which operates on a “hail and ride” basis and such has no designated bus stops.
All bus stops in the area all have up-to-date tags now as well, I should’ve taken a before-after photo…
This was surprisingly exhausting and took way longer than I imagined. I will be back after a break to tackle the Campbelltown region
