You can now respond to the call for sessions by submitting your proposal. We’re using a system called Pretalx, which will ask you some questions such as the type (talk, workshop, something else?) and which category it fits. To provide guidance we have information about proposing a session which details the questions further.
Like the OpenStreetMap project as a whole, it’s the individuals that make up the data and subject matter of the conference. So please think about what experience or knowledge you can share. You can also send a message to someone else and encourage them to make a proposal, or team up together! There’s just over a month to complete your proposal, after which our team will be busy reviewing them. Submit a proposal.
We are asking people to propose sessions within these 8 tracks:
- OSM Basics
- Software & Engineering
- Mapping & Collection
- Not just OSM
- Map Progress
- Community & Vision
- Cartography & Outputs
- Humanitarian
More detail about the tracks is provided in the information post we made, along with the types of sessions you could propose, and some tips of making a submission.
