There’s an option for sharing the contents, that is text plus a link to the posting, of a selection. But surprisingly it only supports posting to xitter and e-mail.
Could the forum team investigate if other social media sites could be supported with a reasonable amount of effort?
Facebook too, at least for me.
If you want to share to the OSM.town Mapstodon server (for people logged into there), you can open a pop-up with the following URL. Logged in users (to mastodon) will see a post prefilled with the text. I think this is similar to how the Nazi-Bar Site Twitter sharing is done.
