Someone removed one of the twin Emirates Towers

I was looking around Dubai on the OSM map and on F4Map, and I realised that one of the two towers were missing at this location. The west tower previously had a detailed 3D model, and now the entire building seems to have been deleted. I was not able to find the change set that deleted this. The tower is very much still there, and OSM had a detailed 3D model of it.

Is anyone able to help find the change set and revert the deletion?

Note: The 3D model was only available for the west tower, the one missing, while the east tower had just a regular block, so nothing different there)

Looks like was deleted while importing some stuff (based on the weird tags):

Yeah that’s exactly the building that was deleted. Really strange.

I have reversed part of the changeset to bring back the tower and its 3D building parts in https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/163902695.
Still unsure whether the rest of his additions are accurate, I cannot find any of the added places (youtube, tiktok, snapchat etc.) on the internet or google maps.

Given that they made weird edit, have not bothered to respond and places seems suspect…

Maybe all their contributions should be reverted?

You can try sending the private message I guess, asking to respond on changeset.

Yeah I was gonna say, having been there myself, have never seen such locations. Snapchat, Youtube, TikTok, etc. aren’t even stores :joy:
