Should the address of an enclosing feature be duplicated to its contained features?

For example, would you include addr:country, addr:province, addr:city, etc. for a feature contained within a country/province/city/etc.? Should the address of the building be duplicated to an amenity contained within?

I think these two questions / use cases are quite different. I will always put the house number and street name on a POI, if I know them, even if they are already on the building. (From a mapper’s point of view, it isn’t always practical to check all enclosing features for whether they already have address info.) But I don’t use addr:country or addr:province.
