Should I tag the building or the land/perimeter that the building is in?

One of our business locations has a perimeter of land that includes both the building itself plus car park and driveway. Both the perimeter and the building have been tagged in the past.

Should I tag the perimeter as my brand with all the tags. And then just tag the building as its own with no phone, website, opening hours, etc

Others put the tags on the building or a node, but your idea of putting them on the entire area makes more sense to me.

I’d say the business should be tagged as a “Point of Interest”.

If the building itself is actually called “Business Name” then the area should be tagged. Same would apply to the walls and buildings. The car park or land is unlikely to have a specific name so should not be tagged with the business name.

Good points. But the car park is on our private land and only used by customers who visit our building. Around the car park is our branded fencing and signage.

Certainly map the whole area with the business tags. Map the car park access=customers.
