I would need guidance for tagging a guidepost that contains turning information for a cycling route, but no information about the destination name.
Therefore I’m wondering: should I set the tag bicycle=yes?
Here an example where it’s clear to me that we should use the tag bicycle=yes:

Der Wegweiser verweist doch recht deutlich auf Route 60 , also finde ich bicycle=yes angebracht.

Danke! And just to check if I am correct, I believe the same holds for this guidepost?
Even though it’s just one arrow, it indicates the cycling route.

That may also be tagged “information=route_marker ”. There may be some overlap?
For bicycles this is only a route_marker.
So if you want to map it, put a separate node information=route_marker with bicycle=yes very close to the guideposte position.

Thank you all for the answers.
Therefore my understanding is that information=route_marker with bicycle=yes is the correct way to map this direction sign for the bike.
In case of an existing guidepost for another activity like hiking as we saw in the first photo, the best approach is to add a separate point next to it just with the cycling route marker.
I hope it’s correct
