What would be correct tag.
Or as their website says “pipes, sheets, profiles, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy products, corrugated sheets, elements for wrought iron fences, gutters, trailer side panels, and related materials”

“Metallurgy products” seems like an imprecise translation. “Metallurgy” is the study and/or production of metals and their alloys. For such a production site I would tag it landuse=industrial
, industrial=metal_processing
.
For a shop that sells finished metal products—which is more what the description sounds like—I would tag it shop=building_materials
.
I copied it from their website. The shop basically sells everything made from metals, i.e. pipes, roofing sheets, fences, screws, drill bits, thread taps. Not just building material.
Perhaps shop=trade
+ trade=metal
? Tag:shop=trade - OpenStreetMap Wiki
all of that sounds like building materials to me?
Another mistranslation. Building materials means construction materials, not only for buildings.
Drill bits are not building materials, they are tools, same goes for thread taps, angle grinders and similar. Half of the store is occupied by tools you would need when working with metal products in construction.
So I don’t think that shop=building_materials
because it also sells tools.
not a native speaker, but I would say that tools used for building are also building materials for me
and 100% purity is not needed anyway, it is enough for shop to be primarily selling building materials
Looked up definition in dictionary
building material Any material used in construction, such as steel, concrete, brick, masonry, glass, wood, etc.
so it definitely does not include tools, but it just might be easier to just tag it with shop=building_materials
Another option could be shop=hardware
.
A hardware store, sometimes known as an ironmongers shop in the UK, is where you can buy screws and bolts, nails, hooks and other metal materials as well as metal tools. A hardware shop will often stock a wide range of products which can include building, electrical, plumbing supplies, garden tools, power tools, paint, kitchenware, homeware, locks, keys, and a key-cutting.
