Saving project in JOSM?

Whila I work on map I use number of layers of data: lots of gps recoreded tracks, recoreded waypoints, etc. Working on map is long time job that needs to span to several days or weeks. Each time I have to break and exit from JOSM it looses all loaded layers, which i have to load again, next time I decide to continue work. This is tiresome.

Is there a way that I can save current layer settings so I can reload it when I decide to continue work?

Too bad. This is really needed option.

I anyoen else is interested tehre is a ticket in JOSM trac regarding this issue. You may folow firther development.
