Does anyone know which aerial photos in OSM are the most up-to-date?

It is possible that parts of Gaza have been mapped using sources that are more recent than those generally available to OSM mappers.

Iโd also allow for the possibility that some areas were mapped, but have since been destroyed and cleared. Older imagery would make such areas appear unmapped.

The newest is Copernicus Sentinel-2 imagery (the latest for Gaza is from last Friday). Itโs low-resolution, though, so of limited use for mapping war damage.

Itโs not available in the default list because itโs low-resolution. The wiki has options for showing it in various editors: Sentinel-2 - OpenStreetMap Wiki
