I suggest you do some dogfooding and try to use CoMaps for going around where you live.
If you see that something is missing or wrong, you can correct it directly there or with any other OSM editor available on your mobile or machine.

No one is here to “give you activities”, map what is of interest to you!

Hi, welcome to OSM.

One of the suggestions for mapping is “map what you know”. This means you could map your neighbourhood / town or if you know about trees or communications or whatever, you could map those and pay a bit more attention to them than other mappers.

what is always useful, but not everybody is entertained doing it, are addresses, housenumbers. What people map depends on their interests, but also on the current data in your area. I believe the road network, rivers, railroad and other infrastructure is among the first things that are mapped, the smaller streets are still often missing in areas without active mappers, or their names are missing, oneway attributes missing and such. Also places that are important to the community, like town halls, hospitals, schools, museums, police, post offices, banks, … If you happen to be in an area that is not well mapped yet, I suggest you start with this, otherwise you will still see stuff that is mapped but maybe not there any more (shops tend to change, etc.), this is what we call maintenance.

Thank you very much
