Looking at KSLC, I don’t see the airport name on the OSM maps like other airports. I went to edit the airport and the airport icon is sort of obscured. I don’t know how this can be fixed. See attachment. You’ll see a plane icon but no name. Not even the ICAO of KSLC.
I’m guessing the label doesn’t show up at this zoom level because of the icon for the Airport station right in front of the terminal. This particular map style leaves generous padding around station icons. You could report the issue to the designer in case there’s a straightforward solution. In the meantime, click the Layers button on the right side of the map and try switching to one of the other map styles. Tracestrack Topo and MapTiler OMT look similar but do label the airport. OSM Americana also labels it.
