I probably been on location dozens of times but only recently some natural occurrences changed mapping of parts of a path from sac_scale=mountain hiking (T2) to sac_scale=demanding_mountain_hiking (T3).
The recently introduced T3 sections seem reasonable to me. There is not much of a path there, feet need to be placed with care, use of hands not necessary, yet, damage of doing it wrong mostly getting wet. All the while, the path also spots T2 sections where damage of placing feet wrongly will be a 15 m drop to riverbed shingle. Shouldn’t that merit T3 too?
