I was trying to add a road links to a route. I wanted to use “link” as a role, exactly as defined in wiki:

JOSM is giving me a warning:
I’m new to OSM, I don’t know if this is a problem in JOSM or in documentation.
Can I add links to a route, which is a national road?
Can I use “link” role?
I believe that including links in relation will allow me to make Garmin maps with better routing.
