There are 2 ways how to deal with the “oneway=yes ambiguity”. Both require retagging thousands of objects. It could be decided per highway=* element which way to go:
- Define what the ambiguous tag means (pedestrians and/or vehicles)
- Do no use the ambiguous tag (use oneway:foot and oneway:vehicle instead of oneway=yes)
