Regarding within the previous topic above and to its reply where it should be landuse=industrial, then industrial=communication instead according to the wiki. Is it optional to add “broadcast” areas where it is small (low powered) and with no fences/walls?
There is a small mountain here: Node: Three Rock Mountain (1563577342) | OpenStreetMap It is popular with communication companies and has lots of masts of different types.
Most of them are enclosed in small compounds with their associated infrastructure:
However, this one appears to be a very simple arrangement with a small mast and a hut that doesn’t seem to be fenced: Node: 1416732026 | OpenStreetMap I don’t think it merits a landuse=* polygon.
However, if none (rare) of the sites were individually fenced, I would be inclined to put landuse=industrial and industrial=communication around them as a group. This is not unlike landuse=farmyard, where it is often difficult to define exactly what is or isn’t farmyard, as there are no fixed boundaries, but we know it is a farmyard.
