Regarding OSM Tracker for Android

The accuracy of the GNSS receiver currently is 6 m (visualized by the green bars) and 9 out of 14 satellites are currently being used for positioning.

Thank you for informing me. This app is totally new to me.

So it shows the number of satellites as well ? GNSS Receivers: Types, Uses & How They Work [2026] This is something that I am learning for the first time.

I don’t know how it started with number 6, as this is the very first track I’ve recorded with the app. I tried out the app for the first time. I could figure out the date, but i don’t understand how the tracks get numbered by the app or the device. I don’t understand the concept of waypoints and trackpoints.

This is the picture of the track. I discovered it today.

I’ve taken 4 pictures today. How to include it into the map ?

This is a track l just recorded from an outing :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes::grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Pictures can be linked to the corresponding OSM-object using the image=* tag. You need to upload them to a service of your choice. That service needs to support hot linking to the image file.

What kind of service ? What kind of hotlinking ? I’m just beginning to explore OSM, and l think OSM Tracker would be a fabulous tool for me to use and for contributing to the project :blush:

Look for image hosters on duckduckgo. Places like flickr

Once the images are uploaded there you need to get a link like https://serviceofyourchoice.net/images/mylatestimage234.jpg (that is just an example! Do not klick and do not use) and put that in the image tag

As you can see, in this track, l’ve clicked 4 pictures and added notes for them. Can l insert these into the map ?
