I recently listened to a TEDx talk(http://www.ted.com/talks/caitria_and_morgan_o_neill_how_to_step_up_in_the_face_of_disaster.html). Their zeal piqued my interest so I went to their website http://www.recovers.org to see if I could contribute any code or bug checking. Alas, I came to find out that this project of theirs is closed source. So now I ask the OSM development community, do you either know of or maintain a project that is similar in scope? I would really like to see what could be done with this combined with OSM data.
