Recommended browser?

My first attempt to use OSM did not go well using Chrome/Windows 7. After one edit, I was no longer able to select a road to edit. I switched to Firefox and that worked.

Are there recommendations for browsers to use or avoid, for editing with ID or other editors?

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. As you’ve already found out FireFox works a treat. I see you have already migrated to JOSM that’s (IMHO) the best editor. Shout if you need help.
