Questions re. Norway - Russia border

Hi there,

I’m a mapper based in Norway, and lately I’ve given some love to the land border areas between Norway and Russia. Among other things I’ve updated the border geometry to the one agreed upon between the Norwegian and Russian governments in 2018. In that regard a few questions have popped up:

  1. Exactly where does this border meet the Norway - Russia border?
  2. How should river sections defined as the border be named? For instance this one. For now I’ve decided to prioritize the Northern Sámi name over the Norwegian and Russian names, since the Sámi minority exists on both sides of the border. Any opinions on this?
