Hey Guys good day !
I am new to using the maps on
openstreetmap.org… one question for you all
I noticing on some roads/side streets, there are some houses with the same number , but different node info.
example I will see in one street house numbers 6,7,8,8,8, etc… each having different node info though. The one with the number 8 shown 3 times, does this mean its a multi-dwelling unit with separate connections or what?
hope you guys can advise.

Could you show us an example for that? It might be a bit easier to answer this question for a particular example than to give a general answer.

You can also add a marker:
Linking to Maps:
Adding a Marker
You can add a marker by using mlat and mlon in place of lat and lon in the URL. The map will be centred on the marker unless you also specify the centre of the map with additional lat and lon parameters
The simplest way to get a marker is to click ‘permalink’, then modify lat and lon to mlat and mlon respectively. If you want the marker to appear in a specific position without knowing the exact coordinates, simply double-click a point on the map. The map will be zoomed in to that point and the point will be centered. Zoom out once (with the minus icon, not with the scroll wheel) to undo the zooming. Your point will still be centered.
Question: How do I add a marker to a map? which lists some other options.
