Proposed electrification tags on midland mainline: should they be removed?

The midland mainline from Wigston junction north all the way to Sheffield is currently marked with the below tags. Given the project has been cancelled with no signs of any further work anytime soon, should these tags be removed?

proposed:voltage=25000

It would make sense to me to do so (for context see here and here, and here for the 2025 gov.uk PR**).

** a number of the items on which have since been also “paused”.
