Problem Editing Maps On Mobile(Urgent Help Required)

Merhaba haritaya telefon üzerinden harita eklemek istiyorum ama telefon için optimizasyon iyi yapılmamış gibi ekranda düzenleme haritasının küçük bir kısmı gözüküyor lütfen bana acil yardım edin(Türkçe)

Hello, I want to add a map to the map via the phone, but as if the optimization for the phone is not done well, a small part of the editing map is visible on the screen, please help me urgently.(English)

What sort of phone are you using? What app (if any) on the phone are you using? What sort of thing are you trying to edit (add extra detail to things already mapped, draw new things, and if so what sort of things)?

unfortunately it’s not built for mobile - I had the same experience when editing on my iPhone earlier this week and I was only there to quickly delete a node.

The default editor (“iD”) was never designed with phones in mind.

That being said, as OSM is a database (not a map) there’s a plethora of Android apps to edit it: StreetComplete, Vespucci, Every Door. Give them a try. Here Vespucci would be more appropriate (it can add new data, not just edit existing data), though its UI is a bit convoluted.

Bu çok aptalca değilmi yönetim mobile göre uygulamayı düzeltmesi gerekir ben harita eklemek için gittim yere bilgisayar götürmem ki yanımda telefon var onla yapmam gerekir bu işi

iD (again the default editor) isn’t made by the OSM Foundation itself, so please report that issue on GitHub

Lütfen bunu düzeltmeleri için opeenstreet map yönetimine bildirimde bulunurmusunuz bunu ben ve diğer birçok kişi haber verirse düzeltirler

First things first, there is no “openstreet map management”. The project is run by volunteers, and pretty much all the software around the project was developed by volunteers.

Secondly, detailed editing on mobile is a hard problem to solve. On a PC you have a keyboard, a mouse, and a large display. On a phone you have a tiny display and a couple of fingers. Mobile editors do exist (several are linked above), but they take one of a couple of approaches, because of the difficulty of editing on mobile:

  • Present a list-based approach (e.g. StreetComplete). You can easily add missing expected detail, but not new things.
  • Provide a fuller editing experience, but with a steeper learning curve (e.g. Vespucci).

Which approach is best for you depends on what you are trying to edit (I regularly use both).
