Printing maps

I’ve been editing maps for a while, and am getting the hang of it just fine.

I would however like to do somthing with them…

I would like to make printouts of several of the areas that i have made significant contributions to, to hang on my wall. how can I do this?

One specific requirement that I have is that the scale has to be the same each area (the scale of the tilesets vary depending on latitude) – this does not need to be exact, within a few percent would do.

Any ideas?/sugestions?

You can print off the OSM website itself.

However, I’d suggest you look at Kosmos (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Kosmos). It has the ability to set your own styles so you can get the print outs looking just how you want and then reapply that style to the different areas you want to print.
