On the wiki talk page is an explanation what happened till the POTW.
But unfortunatly the situation for sports icons is tricky couse of the mass and a unique cooperate style :confused:

OK. Maybe this is too much for mapnik but I suggested it to the OSMarender guys with a ticket. I also don’t know how to propose it to the Navit people. I addeed the icon on your POTW page.
