Potlach - Accents mistyped (é => A¢)

When I type names in Potlach, my accents are mistyped… Why ?
My configuration is Linux / official Adobe Flash player.

Any improvement planned?

This is a bug in Flash Player for Linux, I’m afraid (see http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Potlatch/FAQs)). As such it’s not something that’s within our power to fix.

A workaround is to type the characters in another application and use ctrl-C and ctrl-V to copy/paste. Alternatively, I’ve heard one suggestion that starting Firefox from the command line and using a parameter to specify your language may work - I don’t use Linux so can’t confirm.

you can download an older version of flash that works. 9.35 works for me.
