I am new here, and couldn’t find a solution for my problem.
I am using OsmAnd 4.9.1 App on a Samsung SM-A520F
When scrolling the map, which is not very fluid or smooth, I guess because of my older phone, most of the time the position marker marks a position, which is a bit annoying, and I have to tap the back button to delete the marked position again.
Is there a solution for this? Ideally a way to disable the function altogether when holding the finger on the screen, since I think the phone misinterpretes my scrolling as that. Does a newer phone help perhaps?
I can’t reproduce this - maybe due to having a newer phone as you say. But I wonder if experimenting with Android settings (rather than OSMAnd settings) could help? I can see a number of settings under Accessibility / Interaction and Dexterity / Touch settings that look like they might be relevant.
Thanks a lot, that did the trick. I could set a longer touch time/ sensitivity (user defined to about 3 seconds) and after some vigorous scrolling it didn’t happen again.
That is so nice, I was searching for a solution for that for super long now.
