Please update california high speed rail speeds

I noticed that some of the speeds for california high speed rail are set to 250 mph when the real project only goes up to 220 mph (350kmh). please update speeds to be accurate

Keep in mind that the track might be rated for a maxspeed of 250 mph where trains currently are limited to 220 mph.

What’s the rush with tagging maxspeed on a track that won’t be done for another 5 years at least?

Back in the day, one navigation application even knew the maximum future speed of the Hyperloop. They probably had to hard-code that speed instead of relying on OSM. Otherwise, how could they have known that the next pod was scheduled to depart in 18 years and 1 minute?

Or that the whole enterprise would depart from this world only five years later?

Although AFAIK tracks are generally built at speeds rated higher than the trains will be allowed to run as a buffer of failures similar to how trains must be able to move faster than 10% of their permitted (and official) top speed.

Yes. maxspeeds on train tracks should correspond to the maximum allowed speeds for regular railway operations and not the physical limitations of the infrastructure.
