wouldn’t it benice to be albled to link to search results? Links in the form http://openstreetmap.org/?search=New+York would be nice for search-plug-ins aswell, wouldn’t they?

I would file a ticket on http://trac.openstreetmap.org/ I think this is a good idea, but it’s going to be interesting to know if it’s going to work…
