I was somewhere south of Mukhdahan, the sunset was approaching. So I looked onto the map to find some accomodation. Voila, the next village at the river has even 2 resorts. Great!
I cycled towards the village, and looked around. Near the river was a temple (not on the map), but somehow that resort should behind it. Cycled round the temple such that I entered the river embankment. Strange. I decided to turn left into the temple area, and saw on its right side something which might resemble a resort. But a rather low quality resort: a long building, with some rooms carved out. But those rooms were extremely narrow, even too narrow for a cheap resort (photo taken next morning):

I asked a local man. Oh no, those are the toilets for the monks!
Then he showed me the way to the (other) resort. It was on the other side of a small (perhaps even intermittent) stream, the road towards it was missing on the map, too.
(To be fair, let me add that the node was not placed on the toilet building)
