OSMOSIS - which nodes are/aren't included in bounding box extract?

Hi,
I would like to make some (square) extracts from large osm files. So I plan to set coords bounding box and cut area via OSMOSIS.
And question is:
Which nodes will be included in this extract?
If I would have two extracted areas, which would be adjacent and I would use both of them to draw map. And there would be road, which would go across the adjacent borders. Could potentialy happen, that the information that it is the same road will disappear? And therefore there will be disrupted road on the map with break in it?
