It would be absurd if sitting board members weren’t saying it in the open. Thankfully it was walked back in a rambling word salad about caregivers where we’re assured that it wasn’t really meant.

The “conspiracy” theory is simply pointing out to @nukeador that it doesn’t look good if he moderates away that the HOT candidate didn’t come out top in the elections. There was not even remotely an indication that he was doing it out of ill will, but naturally on the other hand it is completely OK to see non-existent references to the US in [Talk-de] Feindliche Übernahme der OpenStreetMap-Foundation?.
